Along with his husband, Dr Haugland enjoys flying, bicycling, motorcycling, kayaking, cross country and downhill skiing, and playing wallyball. Each year, they routinely go bicycling on RAGBRAI in Iowa and to the annual airplane fly-in festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
