Firas Jafri, MD

Jafri is a hematologist and medical oncologist with a special interest in myeloma and thoracic oncology. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, and completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Jafri was inspired by his grandmother's battle with lung cancer to pursue a career in medicine and is passionate about building relationships with patients while showing empathy and prioritizing a patient's understanding of their treatment options and best course of care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, trying new food and watching sports, particularly cricket.
