Rashmi Patil, MD, is a fellowship-trained pediatric gastroenterologist joining Children’s Gastroenterology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan while earning a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Ala., before completing her fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr Patil’s special interests include pancreatic disease, gastrointestinal manifestations of cystic fibrosis, nutrition management of chronic disease and health equity.
