Dirk Kiner, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic trauma physician. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Health, one of the largest health systems in the country, in 2006. During his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the very prestigious Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte in 2007. Dr Kiner began his practice at Erlanger in 2007 as the second orthopaedic trauma surgeon. Since that time, he has helped grow the division to four surgeons and he now serves as the senior orthopaedic trauma surgeon at Erlanger, the region's only Level I trauma center and one of the busiest in the country.
