Primary care is awesome. Building relationships with my patients is important to me. In my two years in primary care, I?ve come to cherish those relationships. The most important skill in primary care is just listening. Something as simple as that can often be overlooked, but at the end the day patients need somebody to sit down and listen to them. I'm passionate about helping people with obesity work on weight management. It?s an area of need in our community, but it has a major impact on quality of life and overall health, and I?m excited to help people with that. I?d advise patients not to be scared to come in, whether you?re sick or just need a wellness visit.
