Marianne Cusick, MD, FACS, cares for patients of all ages needing colon and rectal care, and screenings. She treats a wide range of conditions including benign and cancerous conditions of the colon, rectum and anus, pelvic floor disorders, fecal incontinence and inflammatory bowel disease. Additionally, she has an interest in minimally invasive surgery and performs robotic and laparoscopic surgeries on the DaVinci surgical system. Dr. Cusick is strives for enhanced recovery after surgery and advocates for prehabilitation to treat pain prior to and after surgery. Outside of patient care, Dr. Cusick is the assistant program director for the training program and focuses on surgical education and clinical research. She has published many scholarly articles and book chapters and has presented scientific research locally, regionally, and nationally. Dr. Cusick was born in Belgium, moving to the USA as a child. When she is not in the office, Dr. Cusick enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 young children. She enjoys jogging, traveling, and spending time with family.
