Dr. Marc F. Catalano is a Professor for the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Catalano is an internationally recognized medical expert and research pioneer in pancreatic biliary endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic suturing. Dr. Catalano has authored more than 400 published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited lecturer at more than 100 seminars and conferences. He was named Wisconsin Governor of the American College of Gastroenterology and has been featured in the “Best Doctors of America” publication for the last 21 years. Dr. Catalano has been honored by advancement into fellowships by the American College of Physicians, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Catalano is fluent in Italian and Spanish, and treats patients 14 years and older. Living near Hermann Park, Dr. Catalano and his wife have two children. Away from the office he enjoys sports, travel, music, the theater and politics.
