Talha Ahmed, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist. He treats high blood pressure, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and other cardiovascular diseases. He uses a patient-centered approach in his practice. He listens to his patients, gives them his full attention, and communicates in simple, easy-to-understand terms when explaining disease processes and treatment options. He’s proud to use his abilities, knowledge, and skills to understand their medical problems and help them receive treatment. Ahmed started his medical training with a degree from King Edward Medical College in 2015. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2020. He completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2023. He is triple-board-certified in internal medicine, interventional cardiology, and cardiovascular disease. He’s a member of the American College of Cardiology. Outside of work, Ahmed enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports such as squash, racquetball, and swimming.
