Amos uses a multidisciplinary approach to create a thorough treatment plan that provides comprehensive pain care to improve his patients’ function and quality of life. He has a special interest in the following disorders:

Amos received his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he was named chief resident. Following this, he completed fellowship training in pain medicine at George Washington School of Medicine. Before joining UT Physicians, he served the Houston community in private practice.
Amos is an expert panelist in pain management for the Texas Medical Board. He is also an active member of the Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. He received numerous awards and recognitions during his academic training and has contributed to research published in the Journal of Biology and Chemistry, Journal of Virology, Cell, Journal of Genetics and Development, and Developmental Genetics.
