Placette performed a clinical fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Inova Fairfax Women’s Hospital. There, she was also an assistant clinical professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. After relocating to Texas, she was in private practice in Cypress & Houston, Texas.
In 2022, Placette joined UTHealth Houston and UT Physicians to pursue her passion in high-risk obstetrics. She sees teens and adults in the Greater Houston area. In her free time, Placette enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, mountain biking, baking, gaming, and reading science fiction.

Jacqueline M. Placette, MD, is originally from Massachusetts. She obtained her medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Her residency training was at Phoenix Integrated Residency in obstetrics and gynecology, a combined residency program in Arizona from both Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center & Maricopa Medical Center Integrated Health System (now called Valleywise Health).
