Thomas was inspired to become a physician assistant after seeing his brother's career as a nurse practitioner. He wanted to make an impact in people's lives and identified a need for equitable and accessible health care.  Empathy is something Thomas values in others, and he embodies it into his own work as well. In his free time, he enjoys learning languages and studying about other cultures. He has traveled to more than 60 countries and even completed the Ironman Triathlon in Wales.   Away from the office, Thomas enjoys watching movies, volunteering, glamping, hiking and spending time with his partner and his dogs.
