About
Dr. Pence boasts an extensive background of national and international teaching and research experience; including teaching Global Health 101 in Columbus, OH, where she worked with the American Medical Student Association to create a global health course for medical students. She also traveled to Arusha, Tanzania where she taught HIV/AIDS education and conducted funded independent research on the education of HIV/AIDS in the secondary school. She has volunteered in medical clinics internationally in Guatemala, Thailand and Lesotho.

Dr. Pence has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2010 and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology since 2011. She joined Oaklawn Medical Group in November, 2014.

Dr. Pence is a Family Practice physician who completed medical school at the Ohio State University School of Medicine, and her Family Practice residency at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL.
