Daniel G Ciaburri, MD, FACC, FACS, MBA, is certified in surgery and thoracic surgery by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is director of cardiothoracic surgery at Washington Hospital and is a clinical assistant professor of cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by his fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Ciaburri also holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
