Flordeliza Villanueva, MD, is the director of non-invasive cardiac imaging at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, of the Center for Molecular Imaging and Image-Guided Therapeutics, and of the T32 Training Program in Imaging Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr Villanueva received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center, followed by research and clinical fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. Dr Villanueva lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, two children, and parents. She enjoys cooking, quality time with her family, and any chance to be near the ocean.
