Olga Shabalov, MD, received her medical degree from the Latvian Medical Academy and completed her residency and fellowship at UPMC Shadyside, where she also served as the chief medical resident. Dr Shabalov has practiced at UPMC Shadyside since 2002 and joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2020. She lives in Pittsburgh�s East End with her husband and French bulldog. Her parents and both of her grown children reside nearby. Dr Shabalov is an avid hiker who can frequently be found on the trails of Frick Park. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
