Aref M Rahman, MD, is certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the director of the cardiac catherization lab at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, and practices at UPMC Passavant and UPMC Jameson. Dr Rahman received his medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School, followed by fellowships at UPMC and Allegheny General Hospital. Dr Rahman lives in Sewickley with his wife and two boys. He is an avid soccer player and coaches his son�s soccer team. Dr Rahman loves to travel around the world with his family.
