Dr. Wilson brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished 25-year career in the U.S. Air Force, where he notably served as the chief of the prosthodontics department at Offutt Air Force Base. He received a certificate in prosthodontics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1996, preceded by a hospital-based residency in general dentistry at Langley Air Force Base in 1989 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.

Dr. Dalton Wilson directs the removable prosthodontics student clinic within the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine’s Department of Reconstructive & Rehabilitation Sciences. He joined MUSC as an assistant professor in 2016.
