As the youngest of eight siblings, I grew up in a tight knit, loving family. Being part of such a big clan taught me the value of connection and the importance of family support.
I have lived in both extremely laid-back (Jamaica) and extremely fast-paced (U.S.) places, and absorbed lessons from both. My approach to patient care involves a blend of warmth, compassion and medical expertise. But not every answer can be found in a medical textbook. I believe laughter can be healing - but that's not covered in the Physicians' Desk Reference.
My approach to patient care is holistic and values each patient's unique needs and preferences. I strive to build trust with my patients through open communication, active listening and shared decision-making. I want my office to be welcoming and inclusive and for patients to feel heard, respected and supported.
Staying current on the best practices helps me provide the best possible care to my patients. I'm board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
When I'm not caring for patients, I'm probably dancing, strength training at the gym or on my online platform dedicated to helping women regulate their hormones and stay active. And, of course, I highly value spending time with my family and those I love.

I knew from the time I was 18 years old that I wanted to go into healthcare.
