About

Hope Cole

In 2021, I fulfilled a long-cherished dream: earning my doctorate in physical therapy. It is the capstone of more than 12 years of professional practice and continued study.
I am certified as a clinical specialist in orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and as a clinical instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association.
I am also certified as a trigger point/dry needling therapist by the Certification Board of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. I use this innovative therapy to treat pain caused by sensitive patches of muscle tissue known as trigger points. Dry needling uses a thin needle to release these trigger points and relieve pain. It has helped many of my patients.
I've learned during my career to always keep the whole person in mind when determining the best possible care. My goal is to make patients feel at ease during treatment. But I also aim to empower them to take responsibility for their care, as well. I do not fix people but rather guide patients through the process of improving themselves.
I'm a North Carolina native and have been married since 2009. Our household includes two boys. When I get the time, I enjoy crocheting, making handicrafts and training for half-marathons.
