Katherine Fahy, MD, CAQSM, is a family medicine physician who specializes in sports medicine.
Dr. Fahy’s medical interests include preventive care, women’s health, diagnostic and procedural musculoskeletal ultrasound, sports injuries, ski medicine, injuries in the equestrian athlete, running medicine and bone health. Her prior research has focused on bone health, running medicine, the female athlete triad and disability studies.
Before going to medical school, she worked as a horseback riding instructor and ranch manager in Colorado. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida where she developed interests in primary care, sports medicine and the medical humanities. She went on to complete her family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
She is board-certified in both family medicine and sports medicine.
