Monica McQuaid, PhD, is Director, Adult Literacy Program, Fisher Landau Center for the Treatment of Learning Disabilities, Rose F Kennedy Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (RFK CERC) at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr McQuaid has a life-span perspective on learning disabilities. She conducts psychoeducational evaluations and provides psychoeducational treatment to adults who have had life-long learning struggles. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston College in 1985, Dr McQuaid earned her Master of Arts in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, in 1988.
