Lourdes Figueroa-Corser, MD, is an Attending Physician, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore and a Clinical Instructor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since joining the Montefiore team in 2000, her clinical focus has been on general rehabilitation. In 1982, Dr Figueroa-Corser received her Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Puerto Rico. She then attended the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena, where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 1989. Dr Figueroa-Corser’s postgraduate training began in 1995 with a year-long internship in internal medicine at the Metropolitan Hospital Center.
