Yasir Abu-Omar, MD, PhD, is a cardiac surgeon at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute, where he serves as the Surgical Director of the Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Center and the Russ and Connie Lincoln Chair in Cardiovascular Innovation. Dr. Abu-Omar’s special interests include complex heart valve surgery, minimally invasive heart valve surgery, aortic valve surgery, coronary artery bypass operations and surgery for heart failure.
