Dr Lokesh Rukmangadachar diagnoses and treats patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), neuromyelitis optica (NMO, also known as Devic’s disease) and autoimmune encephalitis. He embraces new therapeutic options for MS patients and works to provide state-of-the-art treatment and monitoring methods for people with the disease. Dr Rukmangadachar’s research interests include biomarker discovery for neurodegenerative aspects of MS. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr Rukmangadachar is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Outside of work, he enjoys running and hiking.
