Dr Surapaneni chose a career in medicine because of a love for science and lifelong learning.  He finds personal fulfillment in the ability to help others, and views medicine as both complex and challenging, with each patient presenting as a new puzzle to solve.  He is hopeful about the rapid and ongoing advances in cancer care, and takes a holistic approach to that care while building long-term patient relationships. Outside of work, Dr Surapaneni enjoys spending time with his two teenage daughters, long-distance running, cycling and volleyball.
