Our digestive systems deeply impact our experience of life. I see that firsthand through my work in gastroenterology and obesity medicine. These worlds often cross. That is because by maintaining a healthy body weight, patients can improve or prevent many liver and gastrointestinal diseases. In both fields, I help patients feel better.
