Dr Altassan is the chair of the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Baylor Scott & White in Temple. He and his team provide occupational health services for the health system employees, municipal workers, and other companies in the Central Texas region. The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic is located at the only tertiary care center in the area which provides access for the injured employees to all specialties and subspecialities.  Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White, Dr Altassan worked at the Yale New Haven Health System in Connecticut, and he was the Medical Director for the Employee Health at Bridgeport Hospital.
