Walter Sobczyk is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Dr. Sobczyk has participated in numerous research studies and his work has been published in journals such as The Journal of Invasive Cardiology, the Annals of Thoracic Surgery and the Journal of the Kentucky Medical Association. He also has been a presenter and speaker on the subjects of pediatric cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, and obesity at regional and national conferences.
Dr. Sobczyk earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha where he also completed his internship, residency and a one-year fellowship in cardiovascular pathology. He also completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.
