Dr Heather Curtiss is a native of Wisconsin. She received a BS in Kinesiology from University of Wisconsin- Madison, and an athletic training certification from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Dr Curtiss then completed her medical education in Madison University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health graduating in 2007. After finishing her Masters in Biomechanics from UW-Milwaukee, she completed a PM&R residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her training was completed with a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Utah. She did practice for several years at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin, but to transition back into academic medicine and has been practicing at University of Utah since 2016.
