I've always had a deep passion for sports and staying active, having played ice hockey as a child and through college. My love for physical activity led me to the field of orthopaedics. I chose this field because I relate to my patients' feelings and desires. I know how important it is for them to return to the activities they enjoy and that make them feel like themselves. I provide excellent patient care by: Listening actively: Listening carefully to the patient and their family is crucial. I want to understand their goals and concerns. Providing clear explanations: I explain their care plan in a way that's easy to understand. I want them to know what's happening and why. Being open to questions: I'm always here to answer any questions they may have about their care. No question is too small or unimportant. I work hard to ensure my patients grasp the concepts of their care. When they understand what's happening, they're more motivated to follow their treatment plan, bringing them closer to their goals. I'm enthusiastic and dedicated to being part of a healthcare team where the patient is at the center of everything we do. Building trusting relationships with my patients is something I truly value. I find immense satisfaction in helping people in our community return to the activities that bring them joy and define who they are.
