An integral member of the multidisciplinary breast program leadership team, Dr Fineberg’s clinical focus is the study of tissue to diagnose breast disease, both neoplastic and benign. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from State University of New York (SUNY) Binghamton in 1983, Dr Fineberg pursued her medical degree at SUNY Stonybrook School of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 1987.
