James M. Kammerling, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree from University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at University of Wisconsin Hospitals in Madison and a fellowship in electrophysiology at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Dr. Kammerling is associate clinical professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is director of clinical electrophysiology and chief of cardiology at Norton Audubon Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. Kammerling has special interests in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, nuclear imaging and PET. Dr. Kammerling’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the area of cardiovascular medicine. Away from the office, Dr. Kammerling enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, photography and tennis.
