Dr. Mark Sarfati is board certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He serves as Associate Professor of Surgery (clinical) and as Adjunct Assistant Professor Radiology at the University of Utah. He is actively involved in several clinical research studies.Dr. Sarfati began his pursuit of medicine by attending Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated with his M.D. in 1989. From there he headed west, completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1996. In the summer of 1997 he moved north to Utah. He finished his Vascular Surgery Fellowship and joined the Division of Vascular Surgery in 1997.Dr. Sarfati sees patients at the University of Utah Hospital as well as Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
