Dr. Tennyson is experienced in treating all types of cancer and has extensive experience in stereotactic radiosurgery. Dr. Tennyson is part of the multidisciplinary team at Jupiter Medical Center's Anderson Family Cancer Institute. A West Palm Beach native, Dr. Tennyson decided to return to the Palm Beaches after finishing his education. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida and graduated cum laude from both programs. He completed his internship and residency in radiation oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he served as chief resident during his final year of training.
Dr. Tennyson spent a significant amount of his training caring for veterans at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, which houses the national office for radiation oncology for veterans’ affairs.
He is published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous national and international scientific meetings on topics such as lung and prostate cancer, GI malignancies and radiation uses in benign diseases.
