Jennifer Carver, FNP-BC is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Padmaja Kandula in Clinical Neurophysiology and the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science with honors in Nursing at Wagner College. She is also certified in critical care and in neuroscience by the American Board of Neuroscience Nurses. NP Carver began her career in Neuro Critical Care at NYP providing specialized care for patients with a multitude of neurocritical conditions including acute status epilepticus and those requiring intracranial EEG monitoring. NP Carver also sees patients independently. She believes that her background in neurocritical care has given her a solid foundation upon which she can build her proficiency in managing patients with medically refractory epilepsy, surgical candidates, and patients with VNS and RNS device implants. She aims to create long-lasting relationships with her patients built on respect and trustand approaches each patient’s individualized care with compassion and dedication.
