Michael Lewis
Dr. Michael Lewis is a top cataract and eyelid surgeon and has been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly. He began his medical training at the renowned St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Lewis completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University, where he was involved in numerous eye health research efforts. These efforts led to a practice focused on cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Lewis’s residency allowed him to develop skill and experience as an eyelid surgeon in Blepharoplasty, the repair of droopy eyelids and bags under the eyes and related problems associated with aging. In addition to being a highly skilled eyelid surgeon, Dr. Lewis has also developed excellent cataract surgery skills. With regard to his cataract patients, Dr. Lewis performs the SmartLens® procedure in an effort to free his cataract patients from their dependence on eyeglasses. He uses a variety of intraocular lenses and the latest technology to ensure patients have their best possible vision.
