Shlomo Minkowitz M.D. is a an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. He is a board-certified radiologist and a member of the Emergency Imaging Division. Dr. Minkowitz earned his B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2008 and his M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2012. He was an intern in internal medicine at SUNY Downstate and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at NewYork-Prebyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. He was recruited to join the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine after completing his fellowship in neuroradiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Minkowitz’s clinical expertise is in neuroradiology and he interprets a variety of studies including MRIs, CTs, ultrasounds and x-rays. Dr. Minkowitz’s research focuses on medical education. Dr. Minkowitz is an active and involved teacher of resident, fellows, and medical students.
