I am dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, bringing over 20 years of distinguished experience following completion of my fellowship at Emory University. My clinical expertise focuses on ERCP and EUS procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases. I have conducted peer review funded, investigator-initiated clinical trials for drug therapy of arteriovenous malformation-related GI bleeding and randomized trials for biliary interventions. I have pioneered the development of expert systems for gastrointestinal conditions, and formally served as a PhD thesis advisor to Dr Adrienne Chu at Stony Brook University's School of Applied Mathematics.
