Dr. Morgan Rhodes is originally from Toledo, Ohio, but moved to Indianapolis for high school. After graduating from Cathedral High School, she attended IUPUI before moving on to Indiana University School of Medicine. She spent her first two years of medical school in Fort Wayne before again returning to Indianapolis to finish her medical degree. She completed her residency training at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN. She is currently a faculty member for the Community Hospital East Family Medicine Residency.
Her medical interests include obstetrics, women’s health and pediatrics. She is deeply passionate about providing medical care to the underserved and finding ways to combat health disparities. She was an integral part in forming the Diversity and Inclusion Council at her residency and brings that spark for advocacy with her to Community.
Fluent in Spanish, she also loves global health and jumps at any chance to go abroad. Her enthusiasm for teaching developed in residency and she has a special calling to mentor students and residents from underrepresented minority backgrounds.
In her free time, you can find Dr. Rhodes spending time with her family. She enjoys cooking, baking, Broadway musicals, traveling, the Michigan Wolverines, and her adopted dog.
