Bobby V. Khan, M.D., Ph.D
Internal Medicine / Cardiologist
Dr. Khan received his BA (with high honors) from Vanderbilt University in 1984 and MD/PhD (with honors) from the University of Tennessee in 1990. He completed his Residency at UCLA Medical Center and Cardiology Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He was on the faculty of Emory University School of Medicine from 1997-2009 and was Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Cardiovascular Research Lab at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Khan was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship in 2009. His topic of focus relates to global health and initiatives including preventive forms of medicine, specifically in the role of cardiovascular health. He sees patients at the Saint Joseph's office and in Stockbridge.
Dr. Khan and his wife Rebecca have one daughter, Elizabeth Grace. He enjoys reading and traveling.
Jason Reingold, MD
Internal Medicine / Cardiologist
Dr. Jason Reingold is a Harvard trained, board certified cardiovascular disease specialist with additional certifications from the American College of Cardiology, National Institutes of Health, National Board of Echocardiography, and National Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
He graduated from the top of his class from the University of Georgia and Emory University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his training for Internal Medicine at University of California at San Francisco and Cardiovascular Disease at Massachusetts General Hospital.
His clinical and research expertise focuses on the prevention and reversal of Heart and Vascular disease in both the Young and the Elderly across diverse, multi ethnic populations. He also has a special interest in the overlap of Cardiovascular Disease with mental health, metabolic disorders, and kidney disease.
He is a passionate advocate for promoting patient access to care through his roles as an adjunct assistant professor at Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia as well leading the regulatory affairs committee for the Georgia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Reingold continues to offer patients access to innovative diagnostic and treatment options only available through clinical research trials. He served as investigator for trials through Saint Joseph’s Translational Research Institute, Saint Joseph’s Heart and Vascular Institute., and Atlanta Clinical Research Centers. Yet, Dr. Reingold also continues to research the benefits of complimentary and alternative therapies with a strong focus on lifestyle medicine.
Jason is married to Jennifer Alper Reingold, a pediatric speech pathologist . They live in Dunwoody with their 2 daughters, Kaylie and Zoey, and rescue dog Teddy. On the weekends, You’ll find his family exploring the great outdoors of Georgia..
Syed Rahman, MD
Internal Medicine
Dr. Rahman received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (with honors) from Patna Medical College in Patna, India in 1993. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from Albert Einstein University School of Medicine in New York and has been affiliated with Atlanta Cardiology and Primary Care, P.C. since 1999. His medical interests focus on diabetes mellitus and hypertension and he is involved with several medical trials. Dr. Rahman participates in several charitable activities and is involved in community-wide projects throughout the Atlanta area.
Saravanan Kuppuswamy, MD
Internal Medicine / Cardiologist
Dr. Saravanan Kuppuswamy completed his medical education in Chennai, India. He completed his postgraduate training in United Kingdom. He then completed his cardiology fellowship at University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. He is board certified in Cardiology and Integrative Medicine. His areas of interest is preventing and managing cardiovascular and chronic disease by integrating the current medical knowledge with lifestyle therapies and complementary medicine. He also focuses on "deprescription" to safely decrease the dose or elimination of medication that may not be beneficial or cause harm.
