Josephine Shinn, MD, is a general surgeon. After graduating from the University of Miami where she was a varsity student athlete, Dr Shinn received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She went on to complete a general surgery residency at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and fellowship in breast oncology at University of Alabama at Birmingham.
