Cecile King, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University. She then earned her medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. She later completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Cardiology fellowship at the University of Vermont. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. King has been practicing medicine for nine years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. King completed her Cardiology fellowship at the University of Vermont including specialized training in echocardiography and nuclear imaging. She treats a variety of cardiovascular diseases including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, valve disorders, congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Dr. King has a special interest in women's health and preventive cardiology and has advanced training in advanced hypertension, lipid disorders and smoking cessation. In her spare time, Dr. King enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking and running. Dr. King is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
