As a physician, my philosophy is to individualize treatment for each patient. At the heart of this is to ensure every patient is educated on all their options and is able to make an informed decision. As the hand and upper extremity is critical to many activities, I understand the everyday difficulties that patients encounter with these problems. I have a conservative approach to treatment and try to maximize nonoperative treatments before consideration of surgery. I earned my medical degree from the University of Queensland - Ochsner Clinical School in Brisbane, Australia and New Orleans, where I also completed my residency. I then completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh.
