My name is Roniel Cabrera, MD, MS, and I am an associate professor of medicine in the division of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, and serve as the hepatology section chief and medical director of liver transplantation for the division. I joined the University of Florida faculty in 2006. My clinical interests include liver transplant, liver disease, cirrhosis, autoimmune hepatitis, hepatitis B and hepatitis C I earned my medical degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and completed an internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship and advanced hepatology and liver transplantation fellowship at UF.
