He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and completed a residency in pediatrics at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric sleep medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Drees is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society.
