Richard Gorman, M.D. earned his medical degree from the University of Washington, Seattle and completed his residency at the University of Colorado. He received his undergraduate degree in Premedical Sciences from the University of Montana. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Gorman has been practicing medicine for 32 years. He came to Peachtree City in 1988 after having practiced in Aurora, Colorado for seven years. He initially started a solo practice and later joined with Dr. Janet Gerard to form Peachtree City Physicians Group in 2001. He does a full spectrum of family medicine from newborns to the elderly including preventative medicine and health maintenance, immunizations, sports exams, and acute and chronic medical problem management. He has a special focus also in aeromedical medicine and has been an Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA for the last 25 years. Dr. Gorman is the father of four children and has five grandchildren. He enjoys reading and woodworking in his spare time.
