Cecilia Stahlhood graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor of science degree. She then obtained an associate of science degree in nursing from Kellogg Community College. Stahlhood continued her education at Chamberlain University where she completed a bachelor of science degree in nursing and later received a master of science degree in nursing (family nurse practitioner).
Stahlhood has many years of nursing experience in surgery, orthopedics, neurology, and trauma. She has clinical experience in primary care, women’s health, and pediatrics. She has experience providing holistic and evidence-based care to diverse populations, from newborn to geriatric patients, managing complex chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes and providing episodic care for a broad range of acute injuries and illnesses. Stahlhood is proficient with the care of women and children including wellness exams, physicals, and chronic illness management.
Stahlhood is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and joined Oaklawn in 2022.
