Dr. Croasdale is board certified in ophthalmology. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Brown University and received his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his internship at the University of North Carolina, his residency at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and his fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
Dr Croasdale’s areas of interest include corneal transplants, external diseases, refractive surgery, and routine and complex cataract surgery.
Dr. Croasdale was the first surgeon to implant the CUSTOMFLEX® ARTIFICIALIRIS in WI. This procedure is designed to improve vision, photosensitivity symptoms and quality of life for patients with aniridia or other iris defects.
Dr. Croasdale is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Associate Medical Director of the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin. He is also a member of the Cornea Society and the Christian Medical Association.
For the past decade, Dr. Croasdale has worked with the Eye Bank Association of America on both the Medical Advisory and Accreditation Boards.
Dr. Croasdale received an achievement award from the National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health for participation as an investigator for the national, multicenter, Cornea Donor Study.
