Dr Walsworth is Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and an associate professor in the College of Human Medicine Department of Family Medicine and serves as Associate Chairperson for clinical affairs. He came to MSU from Oakwood, where he was Vice Chief of Family Medicine at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital, an associate program director of the Family Medicine Residency Program, and Unit Medical Director of Oakwood Healthcare Center-Westland. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center, Dearborn, serving as Chief Resident.
