Dr Jonathan Carmouche, a GWU School of Medicine graduate, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowships in Musculoskeletal Research and Adult/Pediatric Scoliosis. He earned an MBA from UVA's Darden School of Business. Currently, he's Section Chief of Spine and Pediatrics at Carilion Clinic, a Professor at Virginia Tech School of Medicine, and Associate Clinical Professor at UVA School of Medicine. He founded and directs CCO-MERC for interdisciplinary research, focusing on biomechanics, cervical myelopathy imaging, and bone grafting. He leads Scoliosis and Spine Surgery Fellowship and Orthopaedic Research Fellowship, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, fusions, decompressions, and complex reconstructions since 2007.
